Today, we had a lovely little visitor, Patsy (and her mum Lindsey), who had a sit in her first rally car aged 6… guess what she’s telling her teacher tomorrow..!
Mark and myself cracked on with felicity’s engine and getting it on to her SCCR magic wand gearbox. I cleaned the last alloy bits on the gearbox, fitted all new seals and refitted the output flanges. This weekend coming, the engine will be in, another week she’ll be running. I hope full carb HIF 38 or 44 being fitted, after a full rebuild and new red spring and BBA needle, to go with the AC Dodd RT cam. Lots of jobs to do on minor stuff (no pun intended) and we need to sort the right rear going down but we should be at Himley Hall Mini Show with 2 minis.
